Born and bred in the heart of the Alps, I have always had a profound connection with nature and the people who pursue the kindred adventures.
The environment’s characteristics provide a sense of rootedness and direct feedback regarding one’s decision-making process. Ten years of teaching, coaching and guiding guests in this extraordinary terrain, has led me to a richer understanding of human nature, motivational drivers, group dynamics, didactics and risk management

Having a strong interest in human behavior and an entrepreneurial mindset, I searched for a suitable program to quench my thirst for knowledge within a practical and theoretical framework. The study of Design Management at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences & Arts, take into account both the rational business side and the empathetic human-centered approach of Design Thinking.
Under the guidance of lecturers, coaches and mentors, I developed and honed a set of design skills. This toolkit is used to understand and meet human needs, wants and challenges.

Experiencing firsthand the impact humans have on their environment, it goes without saying that the challenges we are up against require a lot more than benchmarks, profitability and ROI sheets.
Accountability, creativity, leadership, integrity and commitment are the new requirements for ad hoc solutions for today’s hyper-connected and interdependent ecosystems.

Traveling the World is my best CV gap yet.
— they didn't approve, and I didn't get the job

Speaking of the world: already from an early stage my path led me to explore the world’s myriad variety and facets. During my travels through over 60 countries, I have been privileged to have encountered diverse cultures, landscapes and amazing people who live in them. These experiences have provided me with the opportunity to develop an empathetic and critical mindset. Furthermore, they have allowed me to hone my language- and negotiation skills, developing cross-cultural understanding and a sense of responsibility towards oneself, each other and our ecosystem.

After completing my studies and traineeships, I was given the chance to drive change and take on a role on the frontline as junior project manager, I co-lead various Teams through the Design Process. This gave me valuable experience taking responsibility not only for my own actions but enabling other people’s success too. (Fun fact: at times, GIFs were awarded a whole new meaning when de-escalating stressful situations.)

I’ve had the great pleasure of working with inspiring companies and their amazing people designing cool stuff. Occasionally, I get to share my knowledge as guest-lecturer, speaker or consultant and meet even more like-minded people.

I still try to make room for some innovative freelance projects. Thus, in case you have a challenging idea and think I could help, give me a creative shout.
